Hi, it's not CalcI it's the clerk's. I can make it change clerk's, there are 4 of them, but I cannot get it to add up numbers. PLEASE HELP ME!

My dear husband bought me this old cash register at a yard sale, and I hate to tell him it's useless, so I am trying to find instructions or how to program it to work. All the keys are with it, and I figured out some stuff, like how to make it move from CalcI to CalcII, but then it stops at CalcIV, and it beeps instead of doing any adding. Not sure what else to try. ANYONE know anything/used one of these? ANY help would be appreciated! THANKS!!
