To get the machine to work out the change do this:

enter amounts into departments,
press subtotal,
enter amount given (e.g. £20.00, do not use decimal point),
press cash amount tendered button on bottom right.

At this point, change will be displayed !

hey, just wondering if anyone can help me.

I have just started a new job which requires the use of a Samsung ER-290 Cash Register. Dose anybody know if this till has a function to tell you how much change you need to give after recieving the customers money? I would be really greatful if anyone can help me out!
