There is a step missing on dawns instructions. on the second to bottom line- after you type 1, then 0 and before pressing the department key you want taxable you need to push the "check" key. Other then that it is correct.

I just was given a Royal 125NX cash register, but I need a little help with it !!
I am in desperate need of a manual (Please), a set of keys (or one key - not sure) and a receipt take-up reel.
Also, does this use 2 1/4 inch paper ?
I am about to open a small one-man business and I need this register to work at least for a little while - Please Help ~!!

I got this from Royal

Place switch in Z position
Press RA key
Type 1,2 and press RA key
Type 154 and press TAX SHIFT key
Type tax rate (example 8%=8000)& press TAX SHIFT
Type 1000 & TAX SHIFT key
Type 1000 again & TAX SHIFT key
Type 1,0 & Department Key you want taxable
Press SUBTOTAL key
