Currently we have a Sanyo ECR230 cash register, we need to re-program our GST from 6% to 5%.
We have the 'P' key necessary to make the change'
but do not have a manuel.
Would be deeply appreciated if someone could help

Problems with your barcode scanner ?

Barcode scanner problem solver:

1. connection to cash register - unscrew and screw back in.
2. connection to scanner, unplug using paper clip into hole and push back in again.
3. rescan default sheet given whe nyou purchased the machine.
4. clean head of scanner.
5. check for cracks on scanner, ie. loss of vacuum.

The drawer problem sounds like the underneath latch at the back is touching something, this would cause it jam shut and open at other times.

Obviously this is not a good situation, please help!

Prior to that, the drawer become stuck closed. Are the two related?

You use the decimal for multiplication of values or with calculator function. There doesn`t sound anything wrong with the machine.

Hi there,

I bought a TE-M80 from you a couple of days ago and have just been playing with it.

The problems are with the . button. Sometimes when you key in with it, it works but sometimes it come up with the E for error.

Now this seems really strange that sometimes when you put a decimal place into a figure it works and sometimes it doesnt... surely it should always work?

Please let me know if it needs to be swapped or if there is a fix?

I have just downloaded the ER650 utility but when trying to install on an XP SP2 machine it errors when trying to register the following two files "cscmd32.ocx & cstext32.ocx" saying the cannot be registered. When trying the run the program it stops and says cannot run because these files are not registered or missing.

Is there an update to the util, if so where can I get this?

Comms error from my PC "OS = XP", I obtained an RS232 to USB converter cable @ $20 US, spent three hours downloading addetional Derivers, rebooting my PC & checking comms, problem is not resolved - the reason I purchased the XE - A202 unit is for the PC programming function, yet the cable that came with it did NOT support NEW Tech systems; If I do not get support on this issue, I'll have to return this unit & get somthing that WORKS!!! PS: what is it with the LOGO upload, it has to be less that 100 pixles!!! *&^%$#@! LOL

Hello. We have a Tec MA-215-10 Register. We have to taxes, one set at 7.5%, the other at 7%. Now we need both to read 7% but cannot figure out how to do it. The manual is confusing, and the machine gives an error beep when we attempt to set it. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

I lost the manual for Samsung ER4940 cash register. Today our power went out for about 20 mins. and the register didn't work after the power came back on. I tried to sign on (push 0 and clerk 1), it worked for one transaction and it has the same problem again. I cannot get it back to work even I tried to sign on again. just doing continous beep. (p.s. error E2 appeared on the screen while I tried to sign on.

Hello everybody,

I have a problem with a cash-register "Aster FR1000". When you type the amount, it shows indeed the amount but when you try to add more amounts, it beeps and gives mostly error-code "02". Sometimes, without typing any amount, it gives error-code "01".
Does anyone have an idea how to get this solved ? Is there a way to reset the machine ??
